Powering Kenya’s Agri-Food Transformation through Science and Partnership

On February 24, we are proud to co-host the official launch of the Policy Innovations Hub for Kenya.

As a joint initiative between International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), CGIAR Policy Innovations Program and local partners, the CGIAR Policy Innovations Program’s Kenya Policy Hub is dedicated to a bold vision: a future where Kenya’s agri-food transformation is driven by cutting-edge research and co-developed with our national partners.

By merging global policy innovations with local expertise, the Hub will act as a critical science-policy interface to:

  • Deliver research-based solutions for a resilient, inclusive economy.
  • Share institutional capacity to strengthen national research systems.
  • Accelerate Kenya’s journey toward high-income status through informed policy.

We look forward to collaborating with our partners across the country to turn evidence into lasting impact.
